With all the paintings done, I finally had time for one of my favorite pastimes, Mini Golf. This photo was taken in Brainerd at the Pirate's Cove course. A pleasant but unchallenging 18 holes. They had the same layout on more than one hole - I guess they spent all their planning time on this magnificent ship. Yes that is a golf club I'm wielding - I beat Wilson by 2 points.

On Monday we saw this lion water fountain, a gift to the people of Brainerd from the Lions Club. As a child I drank from a "bubbler" exactly like this at the Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford, MA. I did not drink from this lion; there was a wadded up tissue and some used gum nearby which curbed my thirst. I should have been a good neighbor and picked them up.
